Pemilu Raya Yang Timbulkan Persoalan, Warek I Sarankan Selesaikan Dengan Cara Intelktual
Jember (Kamis, 14 September 2017),- Pemilihan Umum Raya (Pemira) yang telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 Agustus lalu, ternyata masih menyisakan persoalan. Salah satunya huru-hara gerakan aliasi mahasiswa (GAM), yang terus berlangsung sampai saat ini.
Pemilihan Presiden Mahasiswa (Presma) yang diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa Institu (DPM-I) yang kurang transparan telah menimbulakan kekecewaan para mahasiswa sehingga melakukan aksi didepan kantor Rektorat IAIN Jember. Jumat (15/9/2017)
“Huru-hara yang terjadi dalam minggu ini, sebenarnya diawali dengan kekecewaan atas terpilihnya Presma yang baru. Tentunya, jika saat proses itu di lalui dengan cara yang baik sesuai dengan aturan main, saya yakin tidak akan ada persoalan”. Kata H. Nur Sholikhin (Wakil Rektor I IAIN Jember).
Persoalan itu muncul (lanjut Warek I), berarti ada yang tidak benar. Proses itu yang akan menentukan hasil. menurutnya “Jika prosesnya salah, maka akan menimbulkan hasil yang salah” ungkap Nur Solikhin yang juga sarjana hukum.
Wakil rektor I berharap agar persoalan tersebut diselesaikan dengan mengedepankan intelektual dengan cara berdialog, bukan dengan otot. “Mari kita selesaikan masalah ini dengan mengkaji kembali terkait permasalahan yang ada. Dua belah pihak harus Legowo dan Jentel, agar permasalahan ini tidak berlarut-larut. Wakil Rektor III selaku pihak yang kompeten dalam bidang kemahasiswaan dan keorganisasian akan memfasilitasi dialog tersebut” Ucapnya
Nur Solikhin juga menambahkan, bahwa Pemilihan Umum Raya (Pemira) yang telah dilakukan ada kecacatan hukum, sebab tidak sesuai dengan AD/ART yang ada, pasal ada proses yang salah ditafsirkan dan telah dilakukan. Sehingga berakibat pada hasil yang salah. Seharusnya jika mengikuti aturan yang ada ,pelaksananya hatus demokratis, transparan dan terbuka. Sehingga semua pihak bisa menerimanya.
